Hello from Adam and Lake!
We’re two friends living in the heart of New York City and our story kicks off just before Mother’s Day last year. Picture this - both of us waking up to uncannily similar texts, “Did you send mom a card?!?”. Cue the frantic sprint to the store, only to be met with an aisle of greeting card rejects - mismatched envelopes, cheap confetti, poorly designed & overpriced cards, and the hassle of finding stamps. Moms deserve better, and so do you!
BeThoughtful provides the quality cards, matching envelopes, and postage you need for every occasion. All our cards are made in the USA with sustainably produced and FSC certified paper. Your Impact.
Tree Planting
Here at BeThoughtful we’re mindful of the impact our products and business have on the environment. As a result, we’ve partnered with the National Forest Foundation, an organization chartered by Congress, to engage Americans in community-based and national programs that promote the health and public enjoyment of the 193-million-acre National Forest System. We’ve specifically joined their Sapling Program and are pledging to plant a tree in National Forests that are in critical need of reforestation for each order placed. These trees are carefully planted in public forests to ensure they have the greatest chance of survival and are monitored by the USDA Forest Service.

Sustainable Paper
When we went to our local family owned printer to select paper for our cards we made a conscious decision to pick a very high quality paper stock that was also harvested in a sustainable manner. We use Mohawk Ultrawhite Superfine Eggshell cover paper (phew) that is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. This certification means that our paper is harvested in a manner that supports zero deforestation, a fair wage and work environment, supports the shift from preservation to conservation, and local community rights.
